Barrel Racing Clinic
April 2 - 3, 2022
The Lloyd Ex Light Horse Committee is pleased to present clinician, Rebecca Beebe, for a Barrel Racing Clinic at the indoor ring at the Lloydminster Exhibition.
The clinic fee is $350, which includes two 3-3.5 hour sessions.
Open to all - 20 riders maximum, the first 20 PAID applications will be accepted.
Everything Equine on the Border
April 8 - 10, 2022
This 3-day event will see prominent equine clinicians provide training to a select group of participants. It's a great opportunity to receive instruction from these fantastic trainers. Easter Riding Clinic
April 15 - 18, 2022
Matt Rustemeier and with guest, Carolyn Rustemeier.
Matt is a talented horseman and experienced hand, having served as assistant foreman at Cor Van Raay Farms, pen rider and/or pasture rider at various cattle operations in addition to running his own horse training and sales business. Additionally, Matt conducts horsemanship clinics and competes in ranch roping events. He has also been the the horsemanship instructor at Lakeland College for the last two years. Carolyn will provide additional instruction for this clinic as well!
English Riding Clinic
April 29 - May 1, 2022
Kelly Brouwer (Gossen). This clinic will provide riders with the opportunity to learn from one of the best equestrian jumpers. Kelly Brouwer has been a member of the Canadian Pony Club since she was 11, so that's 24 years now as she is still a proud member. She was the national coach for the Canadian Pony Club competitors in the show jumping competition in 2016, and a competitor herself in 2008, placing second in Canada. She resides in Rocky Mountain House on the family farm where she coaches a small group of wonderful private students, most of which are also Pony Club kids. She spends most of the summer coaching camps and weekly lessons for Strathcona, Clearwater Valley Pony Club, Haunted Lakes, Red Deer, Medicine River, Blindman Valley, and Thompson Country Pony Club. She also is a farrier to just under 350 local horses. Her full-time work is for the Government of Alberta as a Rangeland Agrologist and Air Tanker Base Supervisor when there are forest fires. In her limited spare time, she enjoys flying and competing in sport aerobatics. She has a heart full of love for her horses Jimmy, Henry, Wartann, Traveller, Frodo, and the newest addition, Gideon.
Team Roping Clinic

With Circle C Roping School (Clint Buhler). You will receive instruction on the ground dummy and the Smarty Steer (pulled behind the quad) as well as steers. Clint will help you with tack/equipment, fundamentals, box work, horse issues and any other questions you might have….limited to 20 ropers
Break Away Roping Clinic

With Circle C Roping School (Clint Buhler). Would you like to start breakaway roping but have nowhere to go? Build your horse’s confidence (and yours) on the Cross Heels breakaway roping sled in a totally controlled atmosphere. Clint will focus on the fundamentals and open you to the NEWEST roping craze. Limited to 20 ropers.
